Operational Modes
Operational Modes are the building blocks of your ConOps. Each Operational Mode is assigned a pointing mode, priority, and - optionally - conditions and timing constraints.

OpMode PriorityOperational Modes are organized by priority. The lowest priority mode is referred to as the Default Operational Mode and is active when none of the other, higher-priority modes are compliant. This is true even if the default mode's Conditions are not active at a given time step.

Time ConstraintsOperational Modes can be assigned time constraints, which limit the duration that Operational Mode can remain active. The minimum duration constraint prevents OpModes from becoming active if they will not be active for long enough. The maximum duration constraint forces OpModes to become inactive after a certain elapse time. Finally, the minimum time between active periods constraint prevents an OpMode from becoming active if it had been active too recently.

Connection to Load StatesAt each time step, the active Operational Mode determines which Load States are active for the Components defined in Energy Balance.
