Time Series Plots

Each built-in subsystem comes with a variety of time series plots, which can be accessed for each subsystem in the Navigation Bar. The following is a summary of the plots included.

Command & Control

  • Routines - Compliance, condition compliance, and activity status for all spacecraft Routines.
  • Targets - Target analytics for each target according to its type.
    • Ground Target - Satellite azimuth, elevation, and range; line of sight (access) and shadow status; solar azimuth and elevation, local sidereal time.
    • Space Target - Satellite azimuth, elevation, and range; line of sight (access), shadow status, and beta angle.
    • Celestial - Azimuth, elevation, and line of sight (access).

GNC

  • Orbit - Spacecraft position and properties of spacecraft orbit.
  • Attitude Determination and Orbital Determination (AD & OD) - Estimated and true satellite attitude, position, directions, and angular velocity.
  • Perturbations - Control and perturbation (solar radiation pressure, satellite drag, and gravity gradient) torques on the satellite.
  • Attitude Control - Commanded and achieved attitudes, actuator torques and margins.
  • Propulsion - Thrust from each thruster and fuel in each tank.

Power

  • Power Generation - Total and per array power generation and utilization. Current and voltage of each solar array and panel.
  • Energy Storage - Battery state of charge, current, voltage, and open circuit voltage. Positive current is into the battery.
  • Power Processing - Power output and margin for the Power Processor and each Bus Regulator.
  • Subsystem Loading - Power consumption by component for each subsystem.
  • Dissipation - Overall thermal dissipation and dissipation by component for each subsystem, with more detail for solar panels.

Thermal

  • Component Dissipation - Overall thermal dissipation by subsystem and dissipation by component for each subsystem.
  • Surface Radiative Heat Transfer - Radiative heat flow for each surface broken down by source/sink (sink to space, source from solar, Earth IR, and Earth albedo). Positive heat flow is into the surface.
  • Temperature Controllers - Heat flow rate and target and achieved temperatures for each Temperature Controller.
  • Thermal Interfaces - Heat flow rate, temperatures on each side, and margins for each thermal interface.
  • Component Temperatures - Temperature of each component by Subsystem.
  • Surface Temperatures - Temperature and margins for each Surface.
